To many factors for me to answer.
A few notes to consider:
Lets take 100 degrees and bad humidity 60%+.
If you are using a slow activator and add a tad of poplar, should not have a problem.
Add an excess amount and all H could break loose.
If you are using to fast an activator for the temp, even a small amount could cause big problems.
For spot work like you are doing, I would look at mixing a medium activator with a slow, this would give you the hotter tail solvents you need but in a limited amount, so the clear would cure a lot faster without much risk. 50/50 would be a good start and you may find that 25%S/75%M would work out great for the small areas.
With your conditions, like I have said before, it is a lot of trial and error for you to figure what is best. You must get sick of hearing that from me!
