There are a few people here whom need Thanking!!!

I personally want to thank my man Dub for all his hard work on this forum.. Dub was the very first person I called when I basically wiped out the old SPI forum trying to remove spam..

Dub is the man behind the scenes who has built what you see here.. He is the one updating the site, doing all the labor intensive work that most of us have no idea goes on.. Many sleepless nights he has spent trying to make sure this forum runs smoothly..

Dub is also networking for us.. He was the man that put the autobody101 site on the map.. He developed that site and made it a huge success long ago before the previous owner let it go to crap and then was sold to a new owner..

Dub is constantly getting car sites to put us on their web pages to grow the business for Barry and Andy as well as increase traffic to this site which will also grow the business and the forum..

Dub has been a great friend, a true friend to me, for many years and I think he deserves recognition for all his hard work and dedication to all of us here on the forum and to SPI... Dub has stood behind SPI, myself and Barry for many years, long before there was a SPI forum and when many people on the internet tried their best to damage SPI any way they could!!

I also want to personally Thank Barry.. Barry has also been a great friend to me for many years now and was very kind and understanding when I made the mistake on the old site.. He always said for me not to worry about it and all things would work out for the better.. He has been nothing but positive during this ordeal..

I also know that getting all this together was a costly venture for Barry, yet again he held no ill feeling toward me and stayed completely positive... That is a true friend gentlemen!!!

I thought all of you should be aware of these things..

Peace

Thanks for posting that, it's well deserved. I'd like to add you name on the list though. Your always helping out and I get inspired by your work.

I would also like to thank Dub and Chris for getting this set up and even though we are starting over, this format is so much better, I want to thank Bondo for killing the old forum, he did us all a favor.
Barry

It's hard to know all the people to thank but to everyone that makes SPI products and web sites, thank you. I don't mind being clueless but it's nice to have a place to visit that isn't rubbing my face in it.

I do appreciate all the hard work it took to bring us this new forum, thank you!

And I guess it is easy to take for granted the feeling of security I get by having SPI in my corner, much thanks to Barry and the SPI crew!

Thanks for a great forum. I hesitate to ask questions sometimes because I hate to sound ignorant but people here are always helpful and I appreciate it. Thanks again.....RC

I enjoy learning and sharing as well, lots of good people here sharing information about quality products. And the new site doesn't knock me off like the old one did.

My thanks to all that make this forum and SPI products available. And thanks to all the members who helped me with my 70 chevelle ss project, and not looking down on us newbies. Great job by all.
Glenn

I would like to thank all of the patient people on here that help hobiests like myself learn how to do body work. I knew absolutely nothing about paint or body repair when I first came to this site about 3 years ago. By practicing the advice I was given on here, I have been able to accomplish results far better than I ever thought possible without formal instruction. None of this sharing of new ideas, best practices, and continuous improvement would be possible without the hard work of the people who keep this site running.

Heck yeah! Great advice here, I love learning and then seeing the results when applied to my own work.
Thank you to all involved!

As previously stated, Dub did and continues to do the lion's share of the administration. I'm too busy kart racing with my son but I did manage to build a 14x8 sandblast/paint room over the winter. That took alot more time and effort than I had planned and its still not completely finished but racing is in full swing.
When my son moves on to something that takes less of my time, I will get back to my camaro and posting.

Jim, that thing has held up great! My wife commented this past weekend how the clear still looks like new despite the abuse she knows it has to be taking. She waxes the karts and sees firsthand the amount of knicks and scratches they get from flying debris. People are always commenting on it. I direct them to your website but really haven't seen where anybody has gotten any work done. Not really surprised though because our racing tire and fuel costs are through the roof.

Chris, we all can't thank you enough for everything you have done here, just make sure the kid wins the championship again this year.

hey thats good to hear. glad its holding up well and its getting some attention. all the helmets that get painted around here and i dont even have one for myself. i cant have anything like that because im sure it would get destroyed. id drop it on the pavement everytime i used the thing.

Basscat....Keep the racing going, even with the costs. Some of my fondest memories of when my son was younger is when we did that racing thing. We all appreciate what you have done for the site, but keep the kid as number one. Eventually they all find themselves pther interests. Then you'll have time for sites.

Aaron

Im glad all is well with you and your family Bass.. That racing sounds like it is great times for you and your son.... None of this would be what it is now, had you not started the original spi forum.. I especially am grateful for what you have contributed here bro..

Good luck in future races and post some pics of it!!
