anyone try the new 8000 trizact discs yet? curious your thoughts. i got a box here. used it a couple times but i just got the discs not the whole system with the special buffing pad and polish. this is supposed to eliminate compounding all together. just polish when your done and thats it. i was told the 5000 is getting discontinued and being replaced with 8000. the process is 1000,1500,3000,8000. originally i thought the 3000-8000 jump was going to be too much but after trying this stuff it seems to cut just as fast or maybe faster than the 5000. i have had no issues going from the green eagle bufflex which is the 2000-3000 range right to 8000. that part of it i find good. i was just not too thrilled to go back to 3m with their special polish and pads.
