66 vette, spi dark red

Recording tonights, starts soon, History channel. Hope to catch it auction from start till hammer down. Sold!!! :)
I know lighting makes them all (almost) look great but still, eye candy.

Absolutely stunning looking Corvette. That interior is so sexy I'm going to dream about it :)

I can only dream of being able to do that quality of work, I too figured the price to have gone too low but I guess it depends on who wants it.

Was it auctioned Friday? I scanned thru fri & sat but didn't see it.
Saturday night brings the $$ it seems.
Those 2 Vettes are artwork Michael Angelo. Stunning.

I see so many posts on Chevelle, el Camino forums and Facebook groups "will it hurt the value of my car if I do something not factory?"
Drives me a little crazy. Unless you have a numbers matching very special and rare model, do your thing. It's your car.
If you are worried about resale, just do it tastefully and do it well.
And watch the auctions for where the money is.
The money is NOT in a base model car with a powerglide, quadrajet and hubcaps.
Could not agree more! If you like driving sixties rag joint steering with a steel buggy spring in the rear, knock yourself out! The all originals are for auto museums. If you like the original timeless styling which has never been reproduced AND you think your sweetie is going to go riding with you on Sunday, you need to look at modern suspension, electronic ignition and Vintage Air!!! LOL's!!!

That is a beautiful C2!!! My favorite dark red and the tobacco interior, Wow!
