61 Buick

Upstate New York - rust repair on my '68 GTO was nothing but Bondo. That was around '74 and not a single shop in the area used a welder. Made me sick because I plumbed a hot water line to the garage so I could wash the salt and ice off the fender wells, rockers and lower quarters each evening after work. I think the dust on the roads in the spring was mostly salt and I quit doing the daily rinse when spring weather arrived. Lower quarters on my Goat looked just like the ones on the Buick Chad is doing. Six years to the first repair then 18 months to the second. Moved the car to Florida in '75 and the sun fried the paint off the trunk, roof and hood in eight months. Got rid of the car before the rust met in the middle.

Well as it stands now the car is going to go on rotisserie in about 3-4 weeks. He decided if he's getting this far into it that he might as well do it right.
Just need to get the camaro off, and that just went on it today. hmm..

Also need to put blazer frame on rotisserie soon too.. Don't use it for years, then I have three vehicles that need to be on it in the same week..

This car has been under slow progression, but it's still progressing. one step at a time.

Awesome.. Keep it going bro. I love these threads you and Rusty kick out

My arse is sooo slow, my threads die lol

Lol. I wish goodmark made panels for this thing, he's going to have a good chunk of money into this one by the time it's completed.

Nice work. I might have to send this riviera over to ya for the repairs. LOL.

The owner has missed out on 2 solid, arizona cars. So looks like we are fixing what we have. Fun!

Great work on those doors Chad - especially for a guy who never sleeps. LOL I get tired just thinking about all the projects you're working on.

Hahaha. worked on C-10 all day today, won't be back on this one till I set it back on the frame, then going to work on doors some more, set fenders on and at some point tear into those nasty quarter panels.

Been spending some time in metal shaping class and researching where I can, here's one of the current projects.. A lot to learn but I think off to a good start.
