3M Masking Tape

I ordered one roll of the 3/4" from ebay as my jobber doesn't carry any of them. If we like it I'll tell my jobber to get us a sleeve. I don't think getting it from ebay is a good deal but the guy I talked to at my jobber (not the usual person) was being a bit of a dick about it and said it was for waterborne and it sucked for solvent base. Well I'd like to be the judge of that, thanks.

I got 2 rolls coming from local jobber for $6.35 a roll, though it will not be here until Friday. My other store said he would have to order a case to get it, for about $72. No thanks.
I got it because I will need to tape on some fresh epoxy and that tape is 'supposed' to be less likely to imprint fresh paint. We will see. It was part #06529 for a 3/4 x60 ft. roll.
Also, in the bumper video, the guy mentions that "it's not incredibly conformable" (is that a word?) so I don't believe you can do tight bends with it.

whenever i looked it up it was priced between green 233+ and the yellow. for what it is i didnt think that was bad at all. whats nice about it is for a masked edge it doesnt leave a thick paint edge. when i say the stuff is thin i mean its really thin. similar in thickness to cheap packing tape. its not just for waterborne. works just fine with solvent.

amazon has a 16 pack for 70 bucks. but the reviews don't look good
by the way why did my cut and paste not work in this post

i have not used that but i have used the orange that shows up in the right side bar. that stuff is pretty good but since then 3m came out with the purple which i think i like a little better. so far i like that the best. for graphics i am going to pinstripe though i just use 1/8" 233+ green. i want to hear what crash has to say about it once he gets his roll.
