Jeremy, why not use the black spi epoxy, instead of rally black? I know that Barry has added uv screener to it.
The rally black has better scratch resistance but for a show car that gets pampered I bet it would last a very long time.

That's also the problem though. This is by no means a hit on anyone here, but why is it so hard to find someone to do good metal work? Jeremy turns out awesome work constantly. I am just frustrated about the shops in my area. I have had to learn how to do everything on my own, becase no amount of money in my area can buy you good metal work, or any body work really.
This sounds like a good area to open up shop, how's the economy there?

The economy is prettty decent here from my evaluation. Dont get me wrong, there are body shops all over the place around here. I dont know if anyone else sees what I do at local shows and cruises though. These places must have some satisfied customers. I guess my queston is why does it seem like metal working is a lost art? It must not pay for some reason.

Very nice work Jeremy, that turned out flawless. That would be quite the challenge to paint that car all together for even the most seasoned painter. What is your average turn around on a job like this? What kind of base did you use? How many people do you have in the shop?

Thanks jayson. These things average about 200 or so hours. depends on the shape.....some of them can be pretty rough. Just me and my helper in the shop now. Wanda base.
