I don't have any pics of this car in metal. It was in primer when I started my new job. Its all ppg minus the UV clear. This shop had never heard of spi. I'm hoping this car changes their minds.

4 coats of UV clear.

Sanded out starting with 600 thru 2000 then buffed. Came out decent. I'm happy.

Looks great! The reflections look very pure in the photos.

Sweet. Was wondering how new gig was going. Very happy for you!

Looks great! If that doesn't convince them of SPI, then I don't know what will!!

Thanks! Ya I'm not sure what they think of the clear yet. I'm not pressuring them to change. I'm trying to let my work and finish speak for itself.

Thanks man. I was pretty nervous but they are giving me a lot of freedom and listening to what I have for ideas. Hopefully it continues to go like this.

sounds like perfect gig, so how did you meet up with them? am I correct in that you went from hobbyist (high level) to this shop? I haven't read full bio or anything, just guessing.

Wow!!! Nice! Love the color.

I spoke with you Wednesday morning about blending the UV clear. I didn't end up having too. But thank you again for taking the time to explain a few things to me.

Great they are listening to you. Remember though to carefully pick your battles.

I told my boss I would spray whatever he wanted me too. He asked what I liked to spray and then asked why. I gave him my list of reasons why I preferred spi for my personal work. After that he said "ok then, tell me what you need"!

Did the doors Monday. Cut and polished them yesterday.

We hung them on the car today. But I didn't get any pics. Working on rest of the panels now.
