Didn't want to media blast these areas because the cab isn't completely stripped under the dash and the media would surely collect there.
Small chisel to break off the larger chunk and then a Bristle Disc to get the channels clean. What method are you using to remove the seal sealer at the roof?
The cost of the reproduced bezel is about $45. It would cost more for me to bring this one back from the dead. I ordered the Bezel, new mounting hardware and the replacement Circuit Film from LMC Truck less money than most places wanted for just the Circuit Film.If you find a good way to replicate the "chrome" around the outer bezel, please post! I've made several attempts, and the only good solution I've found is buying a repo.
I used SPI solvent based Wax and Grease remover without any issues.Careful with them gauges. I used a damp cloth to clean them once and wiped the paint off instantly.

Gonna try to removing the surface scratches from the lens today, we'll see how that goes.
Yes, I found the water based W&G remover to be quite aggressive when I used it to wipe down a panel between coats and it removed the paint.Right on. It must be water based paint. Well, the one I wiped out anyways.
Well, this started out as a "please install rocker panels for me" job. Kind of morphed into a restoration so not my standard procedure for sure.Very interesting way to restore a truck. It looks great and having stuff painted that soon in the process would give me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel! LOL. Nice job.
