1965 Corvette

Thanks Joe. Goodwood green is a 67 color..This color is Glen Green for a 65. A bit darker than the Goodwood.

Even the lacquer this car was resprayed with 20 years ago didn't match the original all that well. It was sprayed in ppg duracryl.

Frame painted and body wetsanded and ready for paint.

Looking great, did you use sikkens rally black on frame?keep pics coming. Joe

you guessed it!! frame was pretty rough, took two rounds of slicksand.

lol. Well the previous restorer did a pretty good job of camouflaging the rust pits. This is a northern car. I knew the frame would be rusty but wasn't expecting as much as it was. They did blast it and etch prime it on the previous resto though.

Very nice!!! Jeremy how many people do you have in the shop? The color looks crazy in the camera flash.

3 coats of universal. started with 1000.

A good customer and friend of mine is doing the build. Got it over to his shop today. Frame is almost done.

There's just something to seeing a spankin' clean frame with shiny components attached to it no matter what the vehicle is.

Extra points for the riveted on upper ball joints, looks like they are after correctness on this one.

As close as possible Bob. Not a strictly NCRS type deal....trying to do better than that. LOL!
