I have been checking out SPI products and thought I would go ahead a post a few pictures of my current project. I have to say, Barry answered my call yesterday(saturday) and was more than helpful. Looks like SPI is the product of choice for this baby.....

That's one radical build! I'm not a big fan of just chunkin a SBC in stuff, but i've gotta admit, that's gonna be different!
Looking forward to the build and welcome to the forum!

keep us updated, looks like quite a bit of thought and work going into that project!

Is that a 6 or an 8 rib belt? Sure hope it doesnt slip when the boost builds.

Awesome build, keep the pictures of your progress coming our way :)

Anything with 2 blowers is OK in my book, look forward to details as you go!

You would like an Chevy pickup that makes some of the car shows around here. SBC with 2 turbos and a 671. He says he is only running 10 lbs of boost, just built it for the bling!

It is a 6 rib belt but, that is why I attemped to increase the belt wrap on the Paxtons. I originally had more belt wrap on the right unit but could not find a serpentine belt long enough.....

the amount of belt wrap on the drive (crank) pulley will determine how much power the belt can deliver before slipping. Did you look into a dual belt system, where the blowers are driven on their own belt?

Ok it tool longer then wanted but here you go. There is also a photobucket link with several pictures, if you can not get them just let me know.

I want to thank Barry for his help and the clear is AWESOME.............

Wow, that does look great and like we talked on the phone, those two coats of clear, have plenty of mils for your buffer guy, not to be worried!

Totally bad ass!! I really like the clean lines of have the hood and sides all enclosed, but understand how difficult that makes packaging everything to fit. The cowl scoops, what are they for?

Thanks, it took me 6 months to settle on the colors......the paint store thought they (the colors) were going to be to close.

Yes, home built down draft booth with variable air volume by shutting a louver using a pneumatic cylinder.
