year old epoxy spray prob..

I had just enough epoxy and activator to fill a Sata Minijet not sure of the cup size but its small. I mixed 1:1 and let it sit for about a half hour then went to spray a couple spots that I was welding a panel over. I got everything ready to go and did a few tests on a piece of cardboard and it came out for lack of better terms "watery" or "clear" with no coverage and only in the thickest parts where I was setting up the gun would it even cover slightly grey....This is a new (used) Sata Minijet that I thoroughly cleaned the night before, I don't think it was the gun but maybe? See the pic.. Could the Epoxy or the activator gone bad? I had the lids on tight mixed and strained the epoxy well. Either way its not a big deal we have more on order that should be here Wednesday... Ideas? It was grey in the mixing cup, temp in the garage was 68-70. Im worried about my new gun now kinda.... badeop3.jpg

pigment has all settled to the bottom of the can. its probably hard as a rock on the bottom.

I poured the last "ounce" out of the epoxy can and it seemed to be normal... not chunky or thick or anything. Had slightly more activator left over which was a brownish "beer" color... I don't know if I remember it being that color new?
