Ok and following the perfect paint job, Thanks Barry!
So, I finally got 3 good days in a row to spray SPI white epoxy sealer over uniform SPI 2K gray primer sanded to 600 on a 1968 Corvette, then plan to spray Diamont BASF cordovan maroon base and then SPI Euro Clear.
So finished up the 25% reduced white epoxy late today, single coat everywhere and planning on spraying base tomorrow morning, then Clear the next day.
My single coat of the reduced white epoxy over the gray 2K has a few splotches here and there from I suppose thin coverage. I am certain I have it sealed so if I do a full coverage of the maroon base I hope the blotches will not show? Or should I regroup and lightly sand the epoxy and touchup the blotches or thin spots before shooting base??
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Much Thanks!
