While wet sanding I noticed a spot on fender

I would appreciate some suggestions on how to repair a "pin head size spot on a fender, I noticed while wetsanding with 1000 grit. What I see is a spot of light gray sealer. This is not a "sand through" but probably a dust nib I missed before color. While sanding I must have taken it down to the sealer.

1 coat sealer
4 coats color
4 coats clear

I was thinking the best solution would be to dab a minute drop of color on the spot let dry and repeat with clear. Your input is appreciated. Also should I wait until all sanding is done to 2500 or repair now?

If touching up is going to be a satisfactory method for you, wait til you are done buffing, because the buffer will remove the touchup paint. To fix it right you have to repaint the panel.

I had the same problem. I finished buffing the car. Then touched it as you mentioned and them lightly wetsanded with 2000 then buffed. You can notice it from about a 1/2 inch. Otherwise it is invisible.
