Which clear is right for me?

I've read all the threads and surfed internet and can't get a definite answer. Some people(seems to be custom guys) love the universal and there are rave reviews on the production clear. Here is my situation. Be doing an allover on crewcab F-350, no jams. My order of priorities are easy for novice, long lasting, cost and looks. I would be thrilled with a production quality job. Its a driver and a truck, I can't have it too nice otherwise I'll be afraid to use it.
I want a clear that shoots user friendly but gives me the option to sand/buff afterwards.
-will 2 gallons sprayable be enough? cost would start to factor in on this big SOB
- Don't got a 1.4, how bad will a 1.5 screw it up?
- What are the key performance differences in the clears?

Thanks

SG, the Universal is the clear to use if sanding and buffing a month or longer down the road is a priority. The Euro 2020 is the clear you want if you want more scratch resistance up front.(it sands and buffs very well for 7-10 days but becomes much harder after that) The 2.1 production clear is very easy to lay down flat; in fact if you want orange peel in it you have to work a little to make it that way.

I've shot a couple gallons of the production on this and that and It would be my choice for a driver type vehicle. It's thinner than the others so it sprays easy, looks like the other SPI clears, and has a great price. If I was gearing up to paint something that big I'd want three gallons on the shelf just in case but I tend to use a lot of clear when I spray. Euro is just as nice also but you have more options to cocktail your own clear. If your not familiar with the clears then Production 2.1 can be really easy since you only mix two parts which I think is great for beginners. Not sure if you are a beginner or not. I really like the Euro but sometimes I turn my brain off and grab for the 2.1 production and so far worked good in whatever temp or humidity I was at.
I don't think I'd use Universal or MS on a truck. For show stuff they can't be beat but they cost more and you'll probably never see any benefits on a driver.

#1 Driving truck would be Production 2.1
#2 Driving truck would be Euro (I've sprayed probably 5 gallons of it but I don't have a lot of experimental time with it to adjust on the fly).

Like brad, I would vote for the 2100 also in your case and we now have a "very slow" activator for it" It is called HotBO slow, LOL

Is the universal easily scratched. I want a show car finish for an occausional well cared for driver.

Not after its had about a weeks worth of sunlight.

I think 2100 would be easier for you to handle on a big vehical like an F350.

So I'm sold on the 2100. In the product sheet it mentions for allovers you can do 2 coats. Can more than 2 be applied? Will this limit the cut/buff possibilities?

You can do up to four coats in one day, this will not hurt the buffing at all and will actually help BUT it will need to be buffed within 5 days to be safe.
