Where to start, how to proceed?

As a complete noob, those look like big jumps between grits. How does that not cause issues? Seems like at a minimum the Trizact 5000 should be in there.

Also, are these the yellow 1000 discs you're referring to?

And do you run the interface pads behind all of the Eagle products?
I can only tell you it works. JimC is the man and what he says can be taken as fact. :)

Yes I use an interface pad. Those are the yellow discs but I use the ones with no holes.

Don, what dry paper are you using to block with?
Well that has been a bit of a quest. I don’t like to use flat sheets of acrylic that are hard for my old hands to grip. I last used this setup. Probably not good enough for guys that like their blocks to meet flatness specs to six decimal places but for the driver quality I do it does a decent job. I use pvc pipe if I need a round block.

Hoping to find decent PSA 800 to use with Deans blocks.
