I mixed at 25% because I thought it might help with my coverage of the black. Did end up waiting about 1 1/2 hours before shooting base. That's pretty quick for 1:1:25%. I've never been that brave. 6 hours in higher temps is my minimum for that reduction. Longer when it's cooler. Next time, try 1:1:1 (1:1:50%) seeing that you were shooting over scuffed epoxy. You can go to base quick with that reduction and hot temps. 15 to 30 minutes.
I had one stick the foam on a stand once....so now I cover the foam with masking paper. Seems to help.I won't flip it over until I'm sure it's no longer tacky.
Went out a few minutes ago just to see how it was doing and I can run by hand over it without sticking to it. Should be in good shape by tomorrow. It's about 95 degrees in the booth when the fans are off.
Next day, epoxy won’t stick. But yes, the only stands you don’t see masking paper on are noobs lol.68, you flip it over and paint it on a stand the next day,? Every have it stick to the stand?
