Thank you very much :)
Doing an allover on a mid 60's mustang in a down draft booth that moves 14,000cfm temp will be in the mid 70's,would the extra slow hardener be the way to go with 2.1 universal?I used the regular universal once before with slow and found it pretty fast, any advice??Thanks

The slow would be my choice!

If its been awhile, the slow has been slowed down as this clear is a big seller in south California.

Oh, I did get beat to death when it hit the 110 mark.

Thanks for the info,I recieved a kit of universal 2.1 for my mustang project in a timely fashion.Going to pull the trigger tomorrow and will post pics if anyone is interested. Thanks again :)

Well I managed to get the car done yesterday with no problems.I was glad I went with extra slow,I would have liked to slow it down just a hair more(maybe a splash of retarder would help) as my booth moves quite a bit of air.My first coat was wet but soon realized I can really pound this product on.I like to walk the side but on my second coat I really hammered it on and did roof trunk quarter quarter door door then the front end.It worked out good for the first time but the next time will be better, there is always a slight learning curve as I figure out on the fly how hard you can push a product.I used my trusty first gen rp 30 psi full fan and fluid and damn near dragging the nozzle on the panels as I was pretty close(3.5-4 inches away).I found it pretty easy to spray and will use it again. Thanks for listening and hear are some pics, not perfect but for a driver it is very nice.

I got the car sprayed yesterday and it turned out pretty good for a driver.I used extra slow as my booth moves lots of air,I think it could be a hair slower so it would stay open longer(a splash of retarder would work Im thinkin)I used my first gen sata rp with a 1.4 full fluid and fan 30 psi 3.5 - 4 inches from the surface 75% over lap.My first coat was wet and like to walk the side, second coat I changed it up and sprayed roof trunk quarter quarter door door front end and was able to keep it wetter.I was damn near scrapping the nozzle on the panels I was so close LOL.The next time will be better as there is always a slight learning curve with a new product as I learn how far I can push something.I will use it again for sure. Here are some pics....

thanks Barry, that is what I used is the very slow.Im not complaining at all very happy with the product. You know what they say the more you use something the better it gets:) Thanks again
