Sorry if I missed this somewhere. Im replacing some metal under the hood of a 67 Mustang. (See Pic) I have a few panels that are covered up by others and I need to weld in my battery apron, which goes over the front piece I replaced on the upper shock tower you see in the pics, and I have a patch made to cover the rear piece. Well I would Like to get epoxy in the there before I weld the new piece on in the rear. I'd also like to use some weld thru primer between the existing metal and the battery apron. Im just curious to how that will react with the Epoxy?
Once all the metal is replaced in the engine bay, the entire engine will be sandblasted and epoxied. Im just worried about the weld thru primer that will be between the battery apron and the existing metal.. is there a better way? Thanks!
