Just to complete the info in this thread. The basf pearl is pf85 extreme bronze. I found my almost empty bottle of it at the back of my cabinet.
I appreciate it very much. Ive found so many different pearls and just spoke with a basf rep he recommended cb87 pearl. I am gonna call back and see if they even sell that pearl you have anymore.Just a side note, if chris has some he can sell you that is going to be far cheaper than biying this from your jobber. Last bottle i bought prob 8 years ago i remember being close to 400 bucks and that bottle is only 1/2 full when you get it lol. You see why i dont use basf anymore. Haha
Okay thanks I appreciate your help alot. I have not used much of rm pearls or any chameleonsThe cb pearls are just regular pearls. What you have in that orange is chameleon pearl. Its the same as the color changing paint just bigger. This changes from copper to green and will match what harley used in the orange sunset color.
Thats what I have noticed. The rep from house of kolor Australia had a few bottles of kpf102 and wanted an astronomical amount for it.Yes. Remember that paint companies dont make any of these pearls or pigments. One company will make those chameleon pearls then sell them to the paint companies who just put them in a bottle, mark the crap up through the roof then sell them. This is why you can go from ine brand to another and its the exact same thing. Same goes for candy dyes
