I just sprayed my '66 Mustang yesterday. Put down 3 coats of Universal. Managed to sign my name in,a couple of places, but I'm planning on sanding down the ridge where the stripes are and then reshooting two or three more coats. I'll take care of the signatures at this time too! I also managed a couple spots on the white stripes that didn't get cleaned up where I need to fog on some more white base before clearing.
My question is, does everything need to be scuffed or sanded, as in every nook and cranny, or is there a re-coat window where I'm still good shooting over the semi- cured clear?
I've been putting in 14 hrs. + per day all this week on this project and I'm hoping to have it wrapped up today.
