Urethane Wave?

Thanks Don! I'll try some 2000 on a da tomorrow and see what I get...I'll also try the dry guide with some reservations, I end up with that stuff everywhere. what do ya use to remove dry guide in areas that you don't want it?

Water or 710 doesn't touch it. Lacquer thinner will, but I don't know if that should be on fresh paint. It's Mirka brand
Sorry haven’t used Mirka but it sounds perfect for wet sanding if you can control the application. I would not be using lacquer thinner on fresh paint.

I have the same question? Since I moved to dry guide coat I have not been able to remove the small amount of powder that's always on the surface to some degree.
You wash the panel after you use dry guide coat? As posted above I found I could not just hit it with water because it did not come off? Compressed air worked about the best for me but I had never been told if this was proper or not?
So I have been just painting over the tiny bit of dry guide coat that remains. Have not seen any problems but I don't do much work either.

Dan is referring to its use on clear coat and single stage. No need to worry about it in body work phase.
