universal clear vs. Hok UFC-35

I'm trying to work up the courage to try UC, have gotten used to the hok and am wondering how it acts compared to the hok... any input is appreciated!

Well, I just spoke to James at SPI and ordered some UC, we'll see what happens...........hopefully I'll be a convert.........
 
I have said this many times over the years and will continue to say it.. I have never sent anyone to spi who did not like it and continue to spray it afterwards.. NO ONE!!! That alone speaks volumes to me.. Not to mention jobs that I shot over 5 years ago now that on occasion I get to see.. They look as good as they did then...the very first job I used spi on was a boat and it still looks fantastic!
 
Well i have used a ton of hok over the years but i can say i have never used their clears. Every job i have done in the past 7-8 years has all been spi primer and clear. Almost all of it being universal clear. I assume you are doing custom stuff. Everything in my gallery is hok or rm base with universal clear. It just makes my job easier with better results.
