Hi guys, I have to pull some dents on a Toyota Prius quarter panel. Is it ok to use the stud/pin gun to pull dents on a Prius/hybrid type car? It's new to me, and don't want to damage a battery or electronics/etc. Thanks guys.
 
Call a Honda dealer first!! The stories i have been told about this car, i would not even walk by one but I don't know how much of the stories are truth or fiction.
 
Most all hybrids have a disconnect at the battery that should be disconnected before all work, at least on the mechanical side. You are supposed to where "lineman gloves" that are rated for 1000 volts when you disconnect it in case it would be shorted. Never done it myself, but went to a few continuing education classes on hybrids.
 
The Prius has a big fuse in the back end that you are supposed to pull out. I will look and see if I have the tech sheet for it.
