The joy of problems

Have a few days in between jobs at work so figured I would start some primer over the weekend. Got the firewall cleaned up, Has a wash primer on it from the blaster so I could get it home & got the bed floor scuffed up (it didn't wrinkle with a soaked rag on it). So it's cold here, really cold like 5 degrees past few days. Poor heater has been working it's tail off but is doing it. Garage is at 73 degrees & I'm sweating which seems odd! So I proceed to sweat in some epoxy for an hour & start to spray. I have two Ingersoll rand guns I use for polyurethane & primer/ paint. I grab primer gun & it blows primer all over no pattern at all but atomized. I reset adjustments no real change. Ok clean it up tear in to it later, grab poly gun start spraying does fine for a while but atomization starts to tail off a bit. As you can guess I only use poly in this gun & I should of cleaned it with solvent first but didn't think about it. so I pulled a bunch of coagulated junk out of it when I was done. Just funny how things bite ya sometimes. IMG_20140122_104853.jpg

As the man said - you can pay me now or pay me more later.
I and most everyone who is honest will admit to the same mistake, putting off a good cleanup and having that come back to bite me at a later date.

That usually happens when I let someone else use my gun. I have learned to clean them when returned.
