i ordered some stuff last week and was Telling Andy how i was in a hurry and knocked over my 5100 Activator.
was going to order some more with my other stuff and Andy says hay it happens!

he hooked me up with the Activator.

Barry has also done extra things like this.

yes same here ordered things and it took to long to get back to the project and the activators were bad thanks again barry
 
Just a suggestion for those that don't use a can of activator in a short time period..

Fill the activator can with argon gas before tightly putting the lid back on the can.

Don't have a bottle of argon with your tig? Your mig is probably using 75%argon/25% co2 mix, that will work also.

Don't have either, then spend a few dollars and buy a can of http://www.bloxygen.com/

This trick will also work with the partial cans of latex house paint we all seem to have.
You know the ones, The ones when you open them up a year later they have that nice 1/4" thick skin on the surface, LOL..
Fill any paint can with argon and it will store a long long time without going bad.
