Spiderwebs while spraying epoxy?

My last few spray sessions with epoxy have gone terrible. When I spray it seems to want to separate, causing what I'd call a spiderweb or honeycomb look. I never use to have this problem. I've had it with long (12 plus hours) induction times, normal induction times, using solvent wax & grease remover, using waterborne wax & grease remover, and after a water/Dawn wash. I tried upping my air pressure a little and it still seemed to do it. Happened with both my LPH 80 and LPH440. I'm spraying through an air dryer.

I've tried to get a picture, but it's hard to see. Immediately it looks like it's going to run all over, then it kind of levels out and looks like a dimple or golf ball. Closest I can describe is a honeycomb of dimples?

Could my activator be going bad or am I screwing something up?

Will try that. I remember Barry saying he sprays his first coat of epoxy the same as his last coat of clear, but then again, he's a much better painter than me!

Would spraying too close cause it as well?

I think that may be the problem. It was on a narrow strip and I think I got close instead of adjusting my fan.
