Part number #2201-1 is ready to go, mixes 4:1 with 2100 series activators.

$ 149.96 per gallon plus activator, this is about the price of a 2 quart kit of the biggest seller out there.

Another difference is mine will not streak and they have a major issue with that.
Mine sprays real easy and you can close your eyes and lay like a clear with 50% overlap and never look back.

Also I made mine one shade blacker as theirs is gray next to black and this is normal with a flattener, since flattener is white.
I went blacker due to a jobber that sells a ton of the other stuff and he approve gloss level and blackness based on what his customers tell him.

Another note we are filling this today and NOW full speed on the Black SS and Base, may have done this week????

Super kewl!! Reg black base. Reg black single stage and a flattened black ss..Very nice!!

May have to postpone my vacation next week and find something to shoot with this. LOL

Well, you can do what I'm doing when we close the week of the forth!
Do some fixing and touch up on the old vette, two doors, hood slammed on carb. and both front fender got chip when installed engine the second time and it slipped.
Then if time left put in a better torque converter.

Sounda like a dream vacation. I was told no cars for a week..LOL

is it available in quarts?? would love some to shoot my dash with

Gallons only as we have it too cheap, so cannot afford to put in quarts.

I thought there was a choice, $149.96 for a quart or a gallon :)

Working on your own stuff always brings the most enjoyment though!

You are right, it was not uncommon for me to work in garage 16 to 30 hours on a Saturday and Sunday and 2-3 hours a couple of nights a week.
I could do two frame offs a year and then the last vette, took 4 years to get done.
As busy as we are, my free time is totally gone and just kinda hope I have enough to mow the yard at least once every two weeks.

My garage is my little Paradise, that is where I belong and have been known to get home after a 14 hour day and say to wife need to go out to garage and get my head together before you talk to me.
Take a beer and go set on a 5 gallon pail and in no time, have a fresh mind.
You just don't know how excited I am with the thought of have a whole week to play in the garage.

Barry would this be simular to the Mercedes flat black(can't remember the part # but could get it ) ? I need to do the black out on my '69 Mach 1 hood. Not worried about the the textured look just the color and the ease of washing and looking after it. If you need more info just let me know but I'm sure you know what I'm after - thanks

I do not know but someone else might. A few spray outs and you could make it match pretty easy.
