This paint was applied by Iron Hill Auto Body in Newark, DE.

It is one coat, mixed 6:1 and applied over red oxide. 004.jpg

That looks really nice, what are the benefits of doing that vs. just shooting the engine bay with black Epoxy?

I like that a lot. Can I ask how it will stand up the test of time in regards to durability? I was thinking of using the SPI bed-liner but that does look really good.

I didn't think it'd be designed in the same manner as bed liner, to take a real knock about. It's good to know it is a durable paint though. I'm concerned that if I were to spray something that chipped or scratched easily in my engine bay I'd be wasting my time as I've got a 428 with alloy heads to squeeze in the already tight engine bay of my Mustang.
From those photos it looks very appealing. Thanks for sharing, I think you have made the decision for me as to which direction to take.;)

Barry, would you recommend this over just shooting the engine bay with Epoxy primer?

Except for the look, I vote for epoxy, if the epoxy look will get you by.
