SPI epoxy

So my plan is to do all the rough body work, and eventually bring the car sealed with epoxy to a pro collision shop that I trust near my home for some final blocking and paint. They said they did not care what brand epoxy I use and my plan is to use SPI epoxy. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of compatibility problems between SPI epoxy and products from a different brand? The pro shop will want to use the stuff they normally use.

SPI is compatible with a very long list of paint lines
i'm sure you will not have any issues

It won't be a problem, except that the way you are doing it leaves the shop a lot of leeway to get out of responsibility if something goes wrong.

Thanks for the replies. I figured since they work on hundreds of cars per year they should be able to work with the epoxy, but the replies make me feel better. Also, I'm aware that if something goes wrong, their responsibility is minimal. But, given I've known the owner for a while and they did my first project about 7 years ago with great result, I'd rather have the final paint done in a professional booth and sprayed by a professional.

you wont have any problems. they just need to scuff the epoxy and go right to filler and primer.

Shouldn't be a problem, at very least the epoxy will give them a good foundation to start with..
