SPI Epoxy Sealed Activator Shelf Life

Have a couple quarts of sealed Epoxy Primer activator for a couple of years. What is the shelf life for a sealed quart?
I believe SPI tech details a short life period but didnt inquire if it was for an open or sealed quart

1 year after opening, but no listed shelf life if sealed. I would think 4-5 years if stored in consistent temps. It will turn darker as it gets older, but still seams to activate fine.

I think the oldest open activator I’ve used was three years old. If you’re going to use old activator use at your own risk and might want to mix a test batch to make sure it hardens.

I year after opening but is not stored in a stable temp in the winter it can shorten the life.

I write "Opened on MM/DD/YY" on my activator cans with a Sharpie. It's been taking me 3-4 months to use one up. Hobbyists might do well to buy a gallon for a project but then switch to quarts if more is needed, since it seems unlikely for one project to use 4 gallons of epoxy.

I have started not buying all the activator for all the epoxy I buy. For instance, if I buy a gallon of gray and gallon of black, I'll only get one gallon of activator figuring I'm probably not going to use both gallons for a single project. Then I'll buy more activator if I need more. Though I just killed a gallon of activator in the last month with the three projects I've got going on currently.
