I enjoy the results of the black diamond blocks, but they are showing me how much I have to learn about bodywork, and how far I still have to go.

The weight of the block really helps in this situation. The parts are light, the stands are total shit so putting a ton of pressure on the part makes you fight yourself.

I’ve noticed that my 3 month estimate is now approaching 8 months.
It might have been 2 months for a pro to complete this at a leisurely pace.

Had to reshape the door jamb areas to clear the door panels and fix the oversized striker holes, basically I am just down to little items now.

I think I'm just about ready to blow this thing apart for paint.

Looks like a Road Glide fairing to me.

This one will be pearl white with some colorful graphics.....but trying to match the powder coated parts is proving to be difficult.
