Seam sealer recommendation

I need to fill the exterior joint between the rockers and cab corners on my 85 chevy truck. I have some 3M dynatron 550 which should work, but thought I should ask. I don't have a dual cartridge gun so I'm looking at single tube stuff.
I'm talking about the vertical joint in the pic below.

If you plan on doing more work in the future then I would really recommend a small investment in a 2K gun. The 2k sealers are a lot better.

Don't buy the gun from your paint jobber, it will be 75+ I bought mine a few years ago on Amazon for about 40. or look for a lightly used one.. The 2K will be a better fix long term, and the gun is good for many other uses, NVH for hoods, etc..

I've tried both SEM and Norton in flowable seam sealer and liked the Norton better, it seemed to flow out smoother in my experience. Here's the seam sealer we applied in the wagon's drip rail. These pictures are using the Norton 97121 epoxy sealer. Really smooths out well and uses the dual cartridge applicator gun.. For vertical seams like you have there, the Norton PN would be 97120. Not sure on the other brands.

Spreader was modified to help get things consistent, as well as pull the sealer up into the back side of the hemmed edge to seal out the elements...

Flowable won’t sag out of that vertical seam?

Years ago on my Mustang I used Pliogrip (a Valvoline brand), I got it from Chads, they said Pliogrip was an OEM supplier. It was nice for seams like that and hasn’t cracked in the 8 years it’s been on so far. I forget the stuff I’m using now.

the "non-flowing" variety was listed after....

How much did you use for the wagon? Would one kit be enough for the A100 cab?
