copy and paste the text into a word document.
Or copy and past the hyperlink into an excel or work document.

When you respond to a post you have the option of watching it, with email notification or alert notification next time you are on the site. This also gives you a list of "watched threads" at the bar of drop downs towards the top of the page....

I do that, but some threads get rather large and there is only one post I want to save. Like the sandpaper threads...
 
I have used the copy and paste method for years now. Have posts saved on steps to custom painting a Harley tank to some of Shine's best quips. :cool:
