Sanding prep 85 Mustang SVO Sail Panels

I have these sail panels from my 85 Mustang SVO. I'm curious what sanding grit recommendation should I go with on these panels before I spray epoxy on them? Thanks.

Clean them real good with a scotchbrite pad and Dawn before doing anything else. Looks like some peeling/oxidized paint. 180 it really well, preferably until down to plastic everywhere. I think those sail panels are ABS.
