Rubberized undercoating over SPI expoy primer in floors

Hey guys, I have brushed on some epoxy primer on the new floors in a old mustang.

I'm too cheap for lizard skin, would a generic rubberized undercoating stick well to the epoxy?

Or is there some other alternative to lizard skin?

I feel like I need to put something "thick" on it...

Also, I am considering the options for underlayment. One catalog I seen seems to have a plain rubber mat type underlayment, and others have the fiberous type underlayment. Anyone have an opinion on using one over the other.

This one is far from a concourse restore, it will be a decent weather driver for my wife.

Thanks!

Rubber or fiber just make sure there's no water leaks for water to collect under either. Ruberized undercoating adheres as good to epoxy as anything else.

I was reading on some home made lizard skin where you could mix these "hollow glass bubbles" into about any type if paint to achive the lizard skin type results.

I've read where some guys have used random colors of various types of paint found on the bargain (miscolored) shelf at lowes/HD...

If one were to try mixing in these glass-bubbles what sort of paint woud you guys reccomend that would adhere the best to the epoxy? Would whatever ugly color of exterior latex paint adhere to the epoxy?
