Rub-throughs on fiinal sanding before sealer

What do you guys usually do with rub throughs? Most are just bare metal on edges. I have a few dime size ones to filler or bare metal as well. I am planning to spray one coat of 1:1:1 epoxy, then base as my next step. Will I need to touchup these areas first with epoxy?

i sand all edges down to metal before sealer. no need for a lot of primer on an edge. it only causes chips.

So what is the size limit on a rub through to bare metal before you can see it through the sealer? How about where I hit filler? I'm guessing any filler will have to be touched up before sealer.

Just my opinion-quarter sized cut throughs to bare metal-no problem just applying epoxy as a sealer then paint. Filler will absorb epoxy on the first coat so spot them areas first and let it flash for awhile then seal complete-you might need to sand these areas lightly before paint depending on if there's any texture differences.
