Royalty MG nearing completion - Cover Recommendations

Greetings Folks...

Chris Hamilton is nearing the completion of my 1974 MG Midget (owned since 1982). The original color is Aconite, and needless to say the paint was tired and thin. Chris persevered through nearly every imaginable roadblock in doing a quality respray. I'm sure I heard some of the curses from Virginia down here in NC. I'll let him brag about his work himself (one photo included).

My question is whether y'all have any tops you might recommend for mostly indoor and occasional outdoor use. Will be stored indoors with a project TR3 and rolled outdoors so I can work on it as needed. I am currently doing metal body work so don't want to expose it to sparks and abrasive dust. Apparently my own exposure to that is less important.

Thanks, Mike

That sounds like a lot of opportunities for a mishap. I wouldn't risk it with such a nice paint job as that. Can't you find a safe place to store it? If you have any intention of hauling the car at some time in the future, an early purchase of an enclosed trailer would make very good storage space.

Thanks Chevman... now that is an interesting idea. I looked into adding a stall and a half to my garage recently and was blown away by the quotes I was getting. Problem is people here are super busy and only want big jobs... If the job ain't big they want to make the same profit. I've looked into all sorts of possibilities, but that is one I hadn't thought about before. Gonna look into that as a possibility. Gracias Sir!
