I have a 98 dodge ram I'm replacing the roof skin on. I can get a replacement roof from a junk yard and drill all the spot welds out but how do I remove all the foam adhesive they use on all the cross members without distorting the roof?

a hacksaw blade works well. a little foam glass cleaner works good as a lubricant to help the blade slide easier and wont cause any paint problems later.

Thank you. I'll give that a try.

Just remember not to use it in the blade holder you could have issues if you do :).
