I have compound splatter all over my car now that it's finally all buffed out. I try to keep ahead of it and wipe it down right after but that doesn't always happen like planned. Most all of it is on the top surfaces..hood, roof, trunk, as those were the first surfaces that got buffed and then neglected. And it's not so much compound splatter as it is the pad lubricant that flies out with compound or polish residue and then dries into these tiny, hard little spots. I've tried removing them with detailer and microfiber but that doesn't want to touch it.
What are you guys using to clean the car once it's done to remove splatter?
My side panels are good because I always wiped them down after every buffing session.
I use Chemical Guys products for buffing.
