Reducer is Great

It's the only product that I dont make money on.
The reason I do this is because a lot of people think reducer is reducer and the quality of reducer makes or breaks a paint job.
I hope someone thinks well; I can buy a private lable for 10 dollars less or ten bucks; I will try the SPI.
I consider it my charity work not sure if im right or not.
The good part is I hear what you're saying weekly on the tech line, and I thank you!

I've only ever used the SPI reducer. What are you experiencing that's different than other products?

Paint did not want to lay down or flow out. I actually had to spike it with more SPI slow reducer to get it to flow. I just didn't want to use slow with my shop temp was down to 70 degrees. It was a two tone, all the SPI reducer / base was nice. The other was super challenging.

Honestly this is why I went to SPI initially. Because of the price. I can get quality product that I feel good about putting on any caliber of project, for only a little more $$$ compared to low end crap, but way under the price of the big 3 products. If SPI were the same price as the big companies, I would probably still be using them, because thats what Im familiar with and wouldnt have really had an incentive to change.
So thanks for providing great products at good prices, and great customer service.

The call I get on the tech line the most regarding the reducer is, "I ran out of my base brand, so I had to use yours and the metallic laid so much better and more manageable."
This call seems to be almost once a week.

And,
It lasts forever.....
I gotta see if I can find my receipts on some of the last spi I bought years ago.
Like 10 or more...years that is.

Careful with the Black HF gloves. You can't hold anything if they are "wet".
Solvent resistant yes but the reason you see a black left and a blue right on my bench....
Dumped a whole glass beaker of clear yesterday. Glove was wet from cleaning a airbrush and was moving it over and just squirted right thru my fingers. Dad use to reference greased owl shite which was apparently very slick.

I’d say it’s cheap insurance. Otherwise you know people would be using the bottom of the barrel stuff in your clears, primers, base, etc and trying to blame your product. Cause you know…reducer is reducer lol.
