Prospray base coat

Ok guys I know I will sound like an idiot here but most of my paint experience is with aircraft using 2 part epoxys and urethanes. I ordered a gallon of prospray base for a truck I'm painting. There is no activator so I'm assuming it goes on as is with some reducers?? I got this from Chad S in Michigan so Chad if you are on here give me a quickie course in applying this base over 2K primer and then coating with universal clear. It's a teal green metalic GM color. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Thanks,

dmc

It's 1 part paint to one part reducer and add universal avtivator. I believe cap full to mixed quart. Pros correct if I'm wrong i don't paint everyday.

Yes 1:1 with reducer. Either the SPI or prospray reducer. Add a cap full of universal clear activator per ready to spray quart. Even pro-spray recommends this.

Mix:
8 parts basecoat
9 parts reducer (Use SPI!)
1 part clear coat activator

Epoxy primer reduced 1:1:1 would make a better sealer than just spraying base over 2k.
