Pigment migration from epoxy makes round consistent pockets and those are jagged and random. And if it were pigment migration the poly and 2k would have filled them in.

Crash nailed it guys, I just needed to sand some more, which I did. ( I did spray some more 2k) It came out pretty damn good. I’ll let you know after I spray the BC/CC, lol

It sure looked like it in the picture, but when I read about how many different materials were put on there, it didn't make sense.

And It didn’t make sense to me why new metal would be pitted lol.

My hypothesis is that it may be a kind of dry spray that is partially sanded and appearing as pitting, but photos are tough to decipher.

Don’t hammer on the first coat.

Maintain your gun distance, don’t hammer on any coat, and don’t double back over the same spot with wet coats.

I’ve been having pigment migration issues like I’ve never had before. Makes me wonder if something changed or there was something wonky to the batch or activator. Or my hand lol.
