What are your practices for painting with glasses? Protect with goggle, tear offs, just clean after, etc....

Interesting to see what others use, I used to use reducer because I always have coated lenses, but the lenses get attacked from the edges and begin to craze. Now I use denatured alcohol because the optometrist told me that is what they use. It seems to be strong enough without harming the lenses.

I have an eye glass kit in a 3M full face mask. They are empty frames and the optometrist makes lens to fit. Of course my lens are about 5 prescriptions back.

Hi,i put my glasses in a cup with a little bit of Dawn soap, fill with water to cover glasses and let them sit overnight, then clean with lens wipes.

i just oversprayed my cheap sunglasses with uv clear the other day. didn't notice for about 24 hours or so. denatured alcohol for the win. took it right off without damaging any of the plastics on the frames or lenses.
