Possible bad batch of 6501 Activator Batch #111011 ONLY

We've suddenly had some reports of white "snowflakes" being present in the 6501 activator out of batch 111011 ONLY and today we got report that some quarts were gelling in the can.

Obviously we don't want you to attempt to use these activators so if you have any activators from batch 111011 ONLY, call us and we'll replace them for free. If you buy from a jobber, simply call your jobber for a free replacement from the new batch.

The only thing that could be causing this issue is excess moisture from either leaky cans (it does happen unfortunately) or excess moisture from one of the solvents.

A lot of this batch is long gone and it still looks like the problem is just starting to take place in the UN-opened cans after about 30 days but not all cans are starting to get weak and it seems isolated.

What, I would like everyone to know is when something like this happens, if you opened a can and it was fine and say you used a quarter or half of the can and resealed, although it may have worked fine, once air gets in the can it will go south real fast, so don't chance it.

Update:

Looks like this was an isolated deal as one Jobber got a few cans and one restro shop in IN got three cans out of a case.

This would lead me to believe it was perhaps irregulars tops on can sucking air or out of round top opening on can.

Sorry for the scare but better safe then sorry.
