Plastic hood louvers on fiberglass hood

I have a fiberglass hood that came with plastic louvers. The louvers are normally attached via 3m adhesive but the customer has requested for them to be glassed in. Is VPA okay to use on this or should I grind the area around the louvers and add new fiberglass and build up with glass then VPA finish the area? Hood has set in sun for a month to finish curing.

Thanks Don, I figured panel bond may work but rarely do I touch fiberglass so was checking with those that do. I’ll bond and VPA today and then epoxy tomorrow.

Something like this would be my choice for bonding plastic to fiberglass or SMC. Then do like Don said and finish with the VPA.
