This is black epoxy applied with a paint brush:

It actually lays down pretty nice. I have used the paint brush method of application in hard to reach places, like inside of doors, under dash, etc.

that looks really nice. no problem with solvent pop doing that? or do you still do thin coats?
i still cant believe how the stuff levels, even after its flashed. never seen any thing do that.

First coat is thin as you want pressure on the paint brush to ensure the epoxy gets into every nook and cranny so it adheres well.
Second coat can be a bit heavier and spread lightly. It generally covers pretty decent but I use three coats when applying with a paint brush.
