Painted Dealer Sticker?

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, and it will be a little while before I'm ready for this, but this is the original dealer sticker on my project truck:

At first I looked at getting the sticker reproduced, but I think the expense for just two of these will be too great. So I think I'd like to paint the cowl, lay down a layer of clear, and get someone to airbrush it on there. Then bury it under the clear. Good plan? I'm open to ideas!

ive used tape to cover up the id tags on door jambs and used an exacto knife to perfectly cut around the edges. never had any overspray

how much to get them made? I could eventually help with the artwork part, that's likely where the cost is? Neat idea. is that a 60's Chevy PU?

I can get a 2"x8" vinyl label for outdoor use for about $75 each if I provide the image, but the more I think about it, I'd really like to have it painted on there.
