Overthinking again..poly primer

Is there any downside to having a car sit in poly primer for say, 4 to 6 weeks before sanding it? I would think its good. But I dont know what I'm doing half the time. I want to get my epoxy sanded in 180. 2 coats of epoxy and 2 days later poly.primer, but it will sit atleast a month before I sand it...

I’ve left unsanded poly for a couple of years. Never an issue. I use Rust Defender.

Thanks. Good to know. I have some things to get chromed and seats covered etc so after paint it comes together faster

Ya, I've left things sitting for months on end in poly. No issues to date. I wouldnt leave it out in the elements(rain and snow), but inside. its fine.
