So what would you guys do here. This is a repaint of an engine compartment I did before with SPI epoxy and 2k, Motobase LV, and Universal Clear. Had to notch the frame rail for the new engine's alternator. While I was doing that I made a few changes to the upper shock mounts that required a repaint. No big deal. Finished the repaired areas back using just epoxy that matched the original epoxy as sealer I used as an undercoat/sealer. My plan was to wet sand everything else to 600 and reshoot everything.

Now, as I was cleaning and preparing to tape off everything, i found that I had burned through 1 corner last night. So 1/8" x 3/4" with bare metal showing. I guess my choices are shoot it as is, or mix epoxy in as small amount as I can and shoot it with my mini gun, or even cover that one little spot with Dolphin(since it claims to be DTM) and sand to 600. If I burned through a lot, the choice would be easy. But that one tiny spot irritates me and gives me choices. I guess another choice is to mix epoxy as sealer and reseal everything. I didn't want to do that because of paint thickness.

While this is blue, that Motobase LV covered EXTREMELY well so I didn't plan on resealing everything. But even that might be a mistake. LOL

Thoughts?
